Scion Meet North County San Diego
Hey everyone,
My name is Mir and I am the Scion Champion here at Scion of Escondido. I am in charge of the Scion Dept and I wanted to get some input on a few things.
What would you like to see at the next Scion Event (ex. Taco Stand, DJ etc.)
What Time should I hold the event? What would make you want to come to the event?
I am trying to coordinate a Scion MEET here at Scion of Escondido for the new TC launch and I wanted to get some ideas from you all....
Thanks!
Mir

I dunno I think you would have to do something "Innovative" to attract cars....
The ALL scion Shows are too Redundant..IMO....Becuz of that I lost Interest in the Scion Events.
Not sure what Day etc...
I did always enjoy the Taco Truck!!!!!!....hehe

Girls + Raffles + Food = Win
It's simple. Provide a raffle, throw in some food and have a couple of nice bikini clad ladies (to hand out the raffle prizes) and they will come.
If you make any shirts for the event or provide any shirts for the raffle make sure you have 2x and 3x available as the majority of scion owners are pretty big. A care package to people showing up would be a nice thank you gift. An event T-Shirt and some cleaning freebies always work thrown in with some dealership advertising paraphernalia (pens, notepads, balloons).
Since it's getting into the colder months here soon I'd say something held on a weekend around 10pm-4pm would be ideal. We still have warm weather up until about mid November but the daylight savings should be ending here soon. Taco's are nice, hot dogs and burgers will work as well. Doesn't really matter just as long as you have food and it's free. Remember that word... FREE! Advertise FREE FOOD and you'll quadruple your numbers.
Kids will be coming here as well. So have something for the kids to do. One or two of those jumping things and maybe a clown or even a face painter. I know (so does everyone else) a great face painter who would probably do it if given enough time.
DJ's I've always found to be kind of pointless due to everyone blaring their own music. Go with a DJ and enforce a no blaring music rule or ditch the DJ idea and let people play their own music just not blaring it. You could try to get a local radio station to come out as well.
Good luck

Good morning,
I called yesterday. Please get in touch with me and we can throw around some ideas. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Charles?
We also need a flyer like yesterday!
@Kirby, I checked my baby is gone

Cool guys... thanks for the ideas... I think the Bikini Girls are a good idea... and maybe instead of detailing supplies, we can hand out vouchers for a full detail from Toyota of Escondido... I think the food stand is also good... FREE is gonna be a MUST... but I need to have an awesome turnout cause this will be my first event here...

When Kearny Mesa T did their 2nd gen Scion event, they had a projector setup for the NFL games, free street tacoz yet, only a handful of ppl showed up. Though ...It was nice to see bluebat's "new" car lolz. First 10 1st gen Tc's that showed up got some upgraded carbon fiber turn signal mirror upgrade kit...though less than 10 tc's showed up .
