Scion Night '10 @ Knott's Scary Farm pics by JDM! 10-26-10
thanks to Scion Corp. for doing this again. i had a good time, other than the caravan. i got my hopes up because i thought there would be an actual police escort on the freeway. anyways, here are the pics. i didnt bring my brother's DSLR camera since i knew that i would be going into the water ride...
meeting up with HFD's at Wal-Mart in Monrovia at around 8:30am.
Heinz put the Scion flag from last year's caravan on his bug protector. very VIP! LOL!
then it was time to roll out to Toyota Speedway in Irwindale at 9:40am.
got to Toyota Speedway at around 9:50am.
after we parked, we went to sign the waiver and pay for the parking in Knott's.
we got actual directions!

when did Boxzila moved to California?
The Grilled Cheese Truck. i didnt feel like buying some.
it was very hot. there were few patches of clouds that keeps us cool for a minute or so.
first 2nd gen tC that i seen with a turbo in it.
the flag that we have to put it on our cars so we can participate in the caravan to break the Guinness World Record for most cars in a caravan.
then it was time and get ready to start the caravan at around 12:05pm.
at 12:10pm, our lane moves!
one of the few police that i saw before we went on the freeway.
there were some traffic on the 605S so i kinda broke up from my group.
one way to catch up to the group. LOL!
during the stop and go traffic, Heinz was kind enough to get me back into the caravan where most of the HFD's were at.
on the 91E.
got off of the freeway on Beach. this is where it becomes more hectic. LOL!
now, i dont usually put other Scion people on the blast, but this teal xB2 just ____ed me off. it was on the far left lane and it cut off an SUV (that was on the 2nd land) and got honked at. did the madness stopped there? nope! it went from the 3rd lane and cut me off (without signaling) at the 4th lane (far right lane). of course, i didnt use my horn. LOL! oh, a couple of hours after we parked, we noticed that there were police and securities in front of that xB2. i heard that they were doing drugs in the car and they have to be kicked out of the parking lot. thats right, KARMA!!! LOL! anywho...

after we parked, we went to turn in our toy,and check out the activities and cars.
checked out the FUSCION booth.
spin the wheel to get a raffle or some other prizes.
waiting in line for the theater. it kinda feels like i was at Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. LOL!!!
into the hot room. there were some funny parts in the little movie.

Alberto's daughter's laughter was keeping us sane. LOL!

at 6:30pm, we head to the park.
some of the nice cars that were inside the park.
we went to the stage at 8:30pm and found out that we broke the Guinness World Record with 535 cars in the caravan.
then it was time for some entertainment by...
.... WHO???
after walking to all of the mazes, it was time to head back home at around 12:45pm. Aaron's HID fog lights was blinding me. LOL!
