Aye... all I know is that I had the MOST trouble trying to deal with this dealership. They gave me the runaround for weeks. At first, they had "my car" coming in a couple days, and never called me back. They are a NIGHTMARE to deal with.... AVOID them.

I wish I had known better.

It's not the best dealership in the world... but if you are going for service talk to Simo! Simo knows what he's doing and will take good care of you and your car.

haha i wasnt so sure about Simo so i went to Curtis he was awesome. The only thing i didnt like about them was the fact that they get there cars stock and add all the extras before anyones even sopossed to buy them. for example mine had leather seats, scion security, lip spoiler, and door sills.

Yea, thats their way of getting around the Scion pure price and no haggle way. If they throw all the junk on there then they make a profit greater than if you order a car and put the upgrades on yourself. I think Scion Corp. should go check this out, seems to be the way most dealerships are, not to mention it's the Toyota salesmen running the thing, not Scion specialists.

yeah i mean i went to go look at some of there cars the other day and not one of them was stock. they all leather seats new radios, tyc light. and really nice rims. i dunno. I guess all dealers are the same but there service and parts department is great. I mean i really wanted those tyc lights and they charged me only 200 for them and 50 for an obx shifter.

Yeah, they just did that to a friend of mine with her xB. Kinda defeats the purpose for those who want a blank canvas! We're planning to get my wife's xB soon, don't think I'll be dealing with those guys!

Not all dealers are the same!! The El Cajon guys tried to sell me all that crap too. But I finally went to Kearny Mesa Scion...

Go to Kearny Mesa Scion! Those guys are 100% better than all other dealers I talked to in SD County. They have an actual Scion department, with specific guys that run it. I put my deposit in, picked exactly what I wanted, and it's on its way to me right now. No extras I don't want, and no annoyingly uninformed salesmen... these guys have their business together!!

Honestly, it was night and day difference for me... I wish I had gone there sooner.

My completely stock BSP '06 xB will be here within a week or so. I'm ANXIOUS.

Then that's all that really matters. My friend feels the same way after everything was said and done, it was just the way they didn't offer her the chance to purchase her box "bone stock."

hmmmmm... i went there and got my tc there stock. only options i got were the rs1 package and the 6 cd changer and side airbags which i wanted all those anyway. when i got mine i didnt see any that had aftermarket stuff. i love dealing with them and todd aka andrew in the parts/service department has been great. i go back there whenever i need something for my tc. sorry to hear that some of you have had bad experiences there but all my experiences there have been great so far.

I bought my first vehicle there. A Toyota Tacoma. The dealer raped me in pricing... but it's my own fault.. I went in uneducated, unprepared, and desperate for a vehicle.... Live and learn.. paid stupid tax..

But, I guess I was the meat that the vultures were waiting for...

Hey... maybe I should apply for a position there? I wonder if they will work with my school schedule. I also wonder how stable of a job it is. Anyone know what the pay scale is?

Having worked @ a dealership (Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge), it just comes down to experience. Remember this, there is a lot of turn over in the car biz.... not so much parts/service as sales! If you're considering, you should target a place that sells what you drive imo (that's why I'm not at the Jeep dealer anymore. Kinda hard to convince peeps to buy something you wouldn't, but that's just me.)
