Well I'm guessing the tCs had priority over any other model which sucks for those that don't have a tC. Or one they thought to be exceptional to show off at the VIP event. It's $8 to get in, can't be that bad of a time if you're not in VIP.. right?

You can still go but if you're not VIP, you can't access the Scion VIP lounge. They have a catered lunch, special giveaways and more.

The Scion VIP event at Formula Drift Long Beach is just around the corner and we wanted to thank everybody who registered for the event. There was an overwhelming response and unfortunately, we only have 100 VIP entries to give.
To clear up some misunderstandings that are out there - this is a unique Scion VIP event in that most of the invitees are selected not for mod levels, but on a random (computer-generated) basis. This accounts for 60 of the invites; these 60 owners will NOT display their cars at the event due to space restrictions. Parking will be outside of the venue at private and public garages in the area (with nominal fees).
40 of the invitations have gone out to tC owners who are invited to show their car in a special tC Showoff in conjunction with Import Showoff. These invitations have been issued with some regard to modification levels.
All invitations have been issued at this point and the list is available for viewing at www.scionvip.com. We will be reaching out to all invitees today to confirm your attendance today - you may respond via email or phone if you have been invited.
We hope to see you at the event if you are a VIP; and if you did not get an invitation this time, we hope to see you at a future event soon.

But that would be a sin. I always regret that I just hope I can get a good position to stand for drift shots. I always feel a tad frustrated

First and Foremost : I would truly from the bottom of my heart like to apologize for any discrepancy, confusion or mistake I made in regards to this show...I so sincerely apologize to you all...truly so so sorry.
After receiving a call and seeing my mistake I saw that there were only 40 tC's to be shown...and 100 passes to be given out...by VIP for VIP...please hold me 100% wrong for everything.....
Please know ....as you all probably have crossed that there is always a budget and limitations given when it comes to shows...and in this there is no difference...I unaware of such tried to help and honestly made a mistake.....
Please forgive my actions .... and my mistakes I truly meant no harm to any of you or to my friends @ VIP and would like to just say I'm sorry....and I can only hope that Scion Corp., in California will see what Great People you all are and how you eminate the LOVE for Scion...

If so, yeah it's a disappointments and I am sure some feel like the Tc's are being singled out as VIP over the other cars, but we all planned on going anyway cause of our love for Scion and it's community.
