i was in SCION VIP last year in vegas for HIN and there was a/c there it was pretty kool...

 

You can go to any terrible herbs and they do a good job. Just depends on how long the wait is.

 

heheh yeah i feel that...everytime i get into my car i feel like fainting...no a/c (long story short: i had an uh-oh with the curb and fence last year) still havent fixed it...dont feel the need to being that i guess i can somewhat take it now...i suppose if i can make a 4 hour trip from here to ca and back a few days later with no a/c at high noon, i can drive around with no a/c

hmmm car washes, i dont usually get my car washed through the machine or by anyone else quite often (i have a thing about others touching my car other than my boyfriend and i) and i break all the watering scheduling rules here in vegas... wash my car like i did back at home in kali, but terrible herbs i hear does a good job just like what mr meaty said...and they're like everywhere, or i heard fabulous freddy's does a real good job (so one of my real good friends say), the only one i know of is off torrey pines / w. charleston blvd right next to CCSN , from there you can head east and get on the 15 N to get to the speedway

 

oh yeah at sam boyd stadium? we actually used to autox there, a pretty small lot if you ask me, but anyway i might be able to make it to that one, and stay till about 8 or 9 kuz, AGAIN we have a race that following sunday at 7 am at state line so cant stay out late but if you come out for that HIN here in vegas, depending on what time you leave on sunday, you might run into me and some others heading to stateline that morning

 

ohh sweet, well still deciding if i can make it to HIN vegas, we'll see how funds are and what happens at HIN L.A., i hope they have another scion vip in vegas as well at extreme autofest here in cali.. but dunno.

So, to everyone driving up... where is everyone washing the car?

 

There arent' really any near the speed way, as it's on the way out of town.
I think the closes one is off of LV BLVd and Freemont street, but I don't know how good they are.

I'm doing mine down the street from my house, as I live off of LVBlvd and Warm Springs.
It's behind the 7-11 a little ways up from the Blue Diamond exit at 7291 Las Vegas Blvd. They have a drive through that does not scratch your rims and a few DIYS bays as well. Fast Eddies 76 station across the street at 7280 Las Vegas Blvd S only has the drive through, but I've used it before to. No scratches. Then you need to hop back on the freeway and head up to the speedway, so I don't know if youd want something closer.

 

well i just got confirmation from jackie of scion vip, and he checked with extreme autofest officials and they said they will not be providing electricity for anyone, so we have two choices:

1. BRING YOUR OWN GENERATOR

OR

2. RUN YOUR CAR

YAY, they will not be enforcing fuel or running of the engine that day so thats great for all of us , see you guys there.

Really? The registration form said you could not start your engine. Not that I don't trust you, but can we get a little more verification on this, preferably from the ScionVIP poster?

And AMD: Wher the f#ck you gotta be that you can't chill till midnight? You never have a problem till midnight at the Saturday meets.

 

...hey...Meaty, no lip out of you! I'm doing a favor for everyone here that may need to leave before then. I personally don't know how long I'm staying, my Sgt thats goin with me may have to leave early so who knows. Oh, the registration says no engine running during the show...but it also says that we can't leave with the cars til midnight yet that person just said we could, maybe their bending some rules b/c its outdoors and it'll be hot out. Have you heard of when our group is rolling in Meaty?

 

Those guys meet thursday nights (tonight) as well as Saturdays, so Jon is going to get back to me after tonights meet to let me know.

And tell your Sgt. that if he has to leave early, he has to find his own ride, cause you don't wanna miss the bikini contest at 11:45! you need all the chances you can get, stubbs!!!

I swear I heard a BOV I'm thinking you can mount the intercooler on top of the trunk to get better airflow from the dynamics of the car, then you can show and tell it too.

 

Whatever Hopefully it will be a little closer to the engine then the passenger seat by Saturday!
But you better watch yourself or you aint getting the hookup on those engine mounts
