Well I went to the OC fair on sunday night and got free entry tickets and free tickets to see the Puddle of Mudd concert which was awesome btw.

So me and my friends were hanging out at the fair and we left around 11. I parked over at OCC and the shuttle took us off. I get off the bus and I have a two way pager alarm and I made my alarm chirp so I could see what isle my car was in. I noticed there was a Red tC.. RS1.. parked in the aisle and this older mexican guy in his 30s walks out from my car. This is all being seen from a distance. He drives away right past me and I didnt know anything was wrong.

I get to my car and immediately notice that my Carbon Fiber B-Pillar appliques have been pried off with a knife off and stolen. Right then I knew it was that ____in guy in the RS1 because no one else but a tC owner would know that those come off. I yelled at my friends to get in the car asap and then I took off to chase him. He had a pretty good head start. I actually caught up to him at the light down the street. Got his plate and proceeded to follow him. We decided it wouldnt do any good to just follow him to where ever he went so we pulled into the star bucks on the corner because I know a motorcycle cop always sits there. I tell him im with the sheriffs department and what just happened and give him the plate number and the RED TC was still there at the light turning onto the freeway.

The cop said he couldnt go after him cuz he didnt see it happen. He called for back up for me and the cop showed up. I did a walk around my car with him to make sure nothing else was gone and what do I find! He ____ed up my fog lights. He managed to pull my drivers side fog light and bend the ____ out of it and break it. That set me off even more. Im still ____ed. So the cop took down a report and all that and he said he would run the plates for me and if they matched a scion tC then he would pay him a visit at the guys house.

He gave me his card and Im gonna call him in a few days to get an update and Im going to run the plate myself and find out where he lives and maybe stop by or cruise by to see if his car is there.

4. go to the cops

hahaha, jk! but that really sucks man! I saw an rs1 with an older mexican fellow driving in hollywood the other night, doubt it was the same guy though.

Sucks at what happened but if you have the plate you should be good. And what the cop said is a load of ____. If you were here the cops wouldve pulled him over and then compared stories and eventually they wouldve determined you were telling the truth. This is why they set up *77 for aggressive drivers...the cops dont see it but if they catch up to the car they will pull it over. And then you just have to back up the story and/or go to court.

 

The license plate was 5MXJ693... So if anybody sees an RS1 with a CAI and a really loud cheap looking exhaust with the CF b pillars, Take them back for me! It was lowered too

daym that sucks man sorry about that, its pointless taking off the pillars because you have to try to get all of the old adhesive off even if you put some of your own later on the pillar would look wavy i've done it before and one of them flew away on the freeway to vegas and thats with spray on adhesive.

hopefully u get him and make him pay for new sets, theres no point of re-using the old ones.

 

I dont get why someone would do something stupid like this ! Its not like they are that expensive and obviously the guy had his tC modified to a good spec so why does he need to steal the b pillar appliques ? Sorry to hear about it and if i see it out my way at all i will give you a holler !

Seriously, if he can afford an RS1 and other things, just buy the damn appliques! Wouldn't make sense to reuse them anyway.

If the guy had a loud exhaust the cop could have pulled him over and checked the car out for that........... Let the cops handle it. It is not worth risking your life over some appliques though you are no doubt torqued off...........

 

I agree. I got his address and saw the Inglewood part and said forget that. 2 pieces of sexy carbon fiber and f**cked up foglights isnt worth being shot at or something
