Anyways, when the suns finally do win another game, they mock and talk poop instead of taking the win in stride. I even remember seeing Nash, Marion and i believe tim thomas walking off the court after game 6's win with Nash telling tim thomas something and tim thomas calming down. poop talking during a game is all fine with me to an extent but when it comes to a game at the end, you don't continue. Thats what i'm trying to say. Maybe the suns aren't so much sore losers as they are sore winners.
Kobe and Raja's feud has been going on since Raja was with the 76ers I believe. Kobe maintained his cool while Raja reacted like a douche. I don't even rememeber what coach Jackson may have said to Raja but they obviously got into Raja's head. When Kwame knocked [insert suns player, I dont remember] to the ground and stood over him. That, i'm assuming was just macho BS. You really don't see any laker players whining or crying like the suns have, you don't see the lakers overreacting (Raja who?) and you haven't seen the lakers be sore winners when they've won the 3 games. Maybe you should start thinking about next year and maybe then, the suns will learn how to play some defense.

Got it.
Say what you want about the Lakers' "win" in game 4 (Suns won Games 5 & 6), it was a gift for the Lakers and they know it. The play that ____ed the Suns off wasn't a call where it could go either way or the action was moving so fast you needed replay to see it. The players were not moving, they were in front of the ref and there were THREE calls missed. Not one, three. For the Lakers to think they won something is to lie to themselves. Bad/missed calls are going to happen, missing three when the ball wasn't moving and it all played out in front of a ref with no obstructions to his vision is a little different. That's why the Suns feel they are up 4-2 in the series with one more game to play.
You're right though, it's history. And so are the Lakers!
Enjoy the game.

Good article on ESPN about the Kobe/Laker vs Nash/Suns series.
WARNING: DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO FACE THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MVP AWARD, KOBE AND THE BAD OFFICIATING IN THE FIRST 5 GAMES OF THE SERIES.
The author is NOT a Phoenix writer or resident.
Here's a little teaser:

So, for five games, the refs allowed Kobe's team to get away with almost as much thuggery as Tony Soprano's crew. The new Kobe got away with throwing cheap-shot elbows and constantly taunting Bell.
Yes, the refs watch "SportsCenter" and they're quite aware that the tougher new Kobe -- Phil's Kobe -- has had a sensational season and that the Suns can be softer than old Kobe, who had no more street cred than Barney Fife.

Lot's of good basketball in the west though. More fun to watch than the eastern conference.

Here's the corrected lines on the MVP and K. Bryant.

Kobe played a great game. He just took his team out of it and they never got back on track. That's Phil Jackson's fault. He should have used his bench better in that instance. It really showed in the OT.

Big game.
Kobe's going to get/keep his team involved. I'm expecting the Suns to score in the paint, get the big guys into foul trouble early and rain a few timely three-***** on them.
Smush better step up. No more disappearing acts because Kobe can't do this alone.
Probably another great game but I'm not going to be shocked if the Suns pull away for a 20+ point win.

Maybe we'll unleash LB on them again tonight.

the game will be on TNT 5:30 Pacific time...
the Suns do live and die by the three, but like Mark said, Boris and LB have been finding their touch inside and scoring in the paint...i forgot which close game it was (Game 3 or 4) where the Suns actually scored as much points as the Lakers did inside
gonna be a helluva game...i'm at the work right now, and i'm going to be watching in one of the patient's room
GO SUNS!!!!!

BRING ON THE CLIPPERS!!!!!!!!
YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
my vote for MVP of the series: the entire SUNS team
one more thing, nothing to take away from the Lakers, it's already a big accomplishment for their team...nobody expected them to make the playoffs, let alone win more than 20 games
all in all, a hell of a series...now, bring on the Clippers!
