what a failure. clearly speed and stupidity was a factor.

I do have to disagree on the "speed and stupidity" were a factor statement. It could be true, but I have been driving my wife's tC for the last two days, and I have noticed that the blind spots are very bad. I have almost side swiped another vehicle when trying to change lanes, just because I didn't see it at all.

I have driven that stretch of highway daily for the last year and I know that the road is not to blame. It is completely flat, 4 lanes, standard stuff.

I think that reckless driving could have definitely played a factor.

Never said that the road was to blame.

You get used to them rather quickly. Angle the mirror's out and so you get a continuous view from the left mirror, through the interior one, to the right. If you do this(like you [supposedly] learned in driver's ed) the blind spot magically disappears. Looking over your shoulder when changing lanes is an amateur move.

This guy probably drives like a dick, weaving through traffic and speeding, and it finally caught up with him.
