Let me tell you that planning a cruise isn't easy. I helped with one back in '06 and it took quite a bit of work getting things organized. It was an SD to LA cruise and we even got shirts and decals (thanks to FRED aka tougeIST) made for it with Kearny Mesa Toyota sponsoring us for the shirts. And if you know Tim (WeDriveScions, a real OG SL member, he came down from OR to join us.)

Like Catarino (Acid) said, we'll get our club out there...20+ tC's....well spread the word...have you figured out a starting and ending point to this? anything in between?

 

well the krew im from which is Scion Kreationz have a sponsor which is scion of hollywood. I dont know if its for sure but we are thinking of making the dealership the starting point. I havent recieved a confirmation yet but i knew there are more tc's than xb's so we are going to need a very big lot lol

any suggestions?

 

well it all depends on where you want to go..i dont know if you're planning on heading north,south,east or west...i will probably organize a meet spot in North Hollywood right off the 170 freeway (Macys parking lot off Oxnard Exit)..from there, we'll head out to point B. where ever that might be..ya know? =)

 

yeah we have to make a meet point in the middle of everyone, that way no one would have to drive far... ill get in touch wit more ppl this week n see wussup

I went on the Xb cruise with my husband and it was just so fun. Im so glad that I will get to drive my TC with a bunch of other TCs as well!

how was the route?

 

i think everyone got a little frustrated going through hollywood, santa monica.. but the attention you got was insane! there were people all around staring and pointing. It was pretty long, we went all the way down to Carlsbad, although driving through all the beaches was beautiful. We all ended at a gas station 3/4 of the way which all the Xb's totally dominated. It all depends on everyones preferences but i did not mind the route at all. The traffic and random people cutting everyone off probably got really frustrating for most.

 

Laydee FM was right. The XB Cruise was a little Frustrating at times with raffic. But since it was us causing all the traffic, staring and pointing, it was actually pretty cool. The best part was getting together and meeting everyone and seeing all those darn XB in one place!
It was very cool.
Like Mando Said, Scion Kreations has about a good group of TC's itching for their own Cruise. I'm sure they aren't alone.
