Just wanted to let you guys know that theres a meet usually every Thursday night in Northridge on Corbin and Plummer. Right by the jamba juice and starbucks.. were usually parked in the corner of big k mart. A few scions attend and misc cars... i'll be there tonight and most likely Gil and a few other tc and xb owners as well.. hope to see some more scions there.

it starts around 9 till 11 something depending how many appear.. but i dunno if its worth the drive from burbank.. but it would be great to meet more scion owner and see new faces there lol...

and after if you really want to see a meet go down to "the plant" on van nuys a few streets past roscoe and its gets really crazy there.. not really for scion people more for the usual honda crowed and some nice racers but also a lot of stupid kids lol... but still interesting to see.. last time i was there the cops didn't do anything also at the northridge meet its really chill and kick back.. cops rarely stop by.

Oh yeah, do you know a girl named Michelle? She was chilling with your team's cars at the SE/5Axis show and she introduced me to her bf (James, I think?).

 

yeah there part of our team gouki.. you should have went by and met with me.. my car was in the corner right next to them.. half of the team is in the valley and the other half is towards long beach and riverside.. hopefully next week i'll be there to meet up with you.. why don't you go to the show on sunday? i maybe goin but hard to decide on the long drive...

actually, when i went to the show, i was walking around and taking pictures but no one was next to their car. it was when they were doing the raffle so that's probably where everyone was. my girl and i walked through the whole thing in about 30 minutes then left.

i'll try and come out to the meet next thursday so let me know if you're planning on going. not going to the show on sunday, still have a lot of work to do before i start entering these shows

 

So, whatever happened to the meets off devonshire or the on on Van Nuys at the old Plant?

lol devonshire and reseda meets daym that was a long time ago lol.. i heard there trying to start up the camp1320 meets again.. but van nuys meets still happen its just we prefer not going there because theres a lot of stupid kids there that messes the meet up for everyone else.. and rarely there is a scion lol.. this meet on thursdays are mixed up with plenty of 240's and wrx's etc...

wow...weekly meets in the valley...i havent been to one of those since 2003 back during the Devonshire/Reseda days when i still had my gsr

 

lol devonshire and reseda meets...i used to take my lude to those meets... daym that place used to get packed lol.. and yeah its happening this week.. every week.. and its been chill and as long as we keep it kool we shouldn't have any problems.

 

Is it just Scions at the Meet?

 

nope its usually mostly 240's, 350's, hondas.. etc.. rarely scions but the past few meets we've been taking over lol..
