Tire help

I have a 17 inch rims with 205/40/17 Falken tires, I am buying new tires does any one know if I get 215/40/17 BF Goodrich G-Force tires instead of 205/40/17 will it rub or my 04’ XB is safe?

Well there are gonna be a few differences between the tires you had and the ones your choosing. For one, the 215 are gonna be wider than the 205. Also in choosing BFG's, the thread width will also be wider than a Falken tire of the same size.
