I am going to purchase a 2009 XB soon. I am in Ventura Co. CA. How do I go about getting a moon/sun roof (what is the difference between and moon and sun roof?) installed? Can that be ordered at the dealership or is that something that I take to an independent shop to have done after the purchase?
Has anyone done this? What manufacture of the roof, and who and how did the installation take place? How much did it cost?

I am also open to hearing recommendations for dealerships to purchase from. Thanks. Peace.

 

There's a place in Ventura called Pacific Sunroof. Me personally would rather have a factory sun/moonroof rather than an aftermarket one. check with the dealership to see if they have factory roofs available. good luck.

 

Just an FYI, The factory one will cost alot more, but it will be covered with the warranty on your car. Most independents only offer a limited waranty.......
