Who's Still Around????
Where did all the old school So Cal Scion owners go? I miss a lot you guys. I was just going through old pics last night from 2005 to now and wow so much has changed. Now Im not Rodney from Fuscion and post up all those photos, but all I can say is there is so many new faces now, new clubs have emerged, and so much has happend. Both good and bad, but no one can ever forget the good times right? I still remember the day I joined Scion Evo at Longo back in June of 2005 (I think). Man you guys sucked me in for the long ride. LOL. Nilo's ride and Old Man Larry got me sold to this. Their rides are siiiiick! Still to this day man. Then met the Nor Cal SE guys at the time. Still stay in contact with to this day. I remember too that only the following clubs were Scinergy, SE, So Cal tC Club, Scion Kreationz, Scion Image, Xclusive Scions, and I think Sciontific just emerged then too. Man where did the times go and to this day everyone is still going strong. Sorry for going down memory lane, but those photos brought back a lot to me.
I miss my xB 2.34 million times more!
Post up if you know what I'm talking about and if you have photos, post'em up. I would love to go down memory lane. Also show these rookies how we did it back then. I know its not like 20 yrs ago, but from 2003/2004-2010 is a good amount of time.

I remember joining up in the scene back in '05 when I got my RS1 tC and the first meet I went to was SoCal tC Clubs 1 year anniversary and the Progress warehouse and i won my first Scion raffle prize which was a Injen CAI. I miss the days when I first came into the scene saying wow to call the Scions that looked amazing. I remembered going to my first shows and what not and meeting everyone! I'm going to look into my photobucket and see if I can come across some pictures from back in the day.

Wow, hadn't seen axis decades in a while. I came in 07 so I think I came almost at the end of the major scion shows. I remember making it to nationals when they had ridiculous raffle prizes with Quality Toys.

man.....i remember being at home listening to power 106 and heard about a show at north hollywood scion and washing the tC and jamming out! remember showing up and i was like wtf!!! thats when that chop xb1 (orange/white) was still around. that's when i met sciontific and after that is history!
but overall after the times and like you said what has happend in the scene other clubs such as mine have emerged and it's going to keep being that way but there will always be a strong scion presence in the scene.

oh of course Jeff. Everyone that comes into this scene makes an impact. Before Scion people were outcasted in a way where at sometimes I felt like we didnt belong because there was no specific class for us both racing and show and now there's a specific Scion category and we arent closed off anymore. This is why the Scion brand shows are such a hit because any owner can participate and not feel left out or feel misplaced.

I only came into the scene in May 2007. But I have a lot of friends that are OG and I love to hear the stories that they have from the first years of being in the scene. I wish tha I had got in a lot sooner then I did. My first major show was Pasadena Nights I in 2007.
