Default Windshield repair

There's about a foot long crack in my front windshield that I suspect was from a branch falling from my tree a month ago when it got windy.

1. Anyone know how much this is going to cost to replace?
2. Anyone know where in the 626? (Pasadena/Covina area)

Sorry to break the news but a 12-13inch crack = new windshield. They wont repair a crack that big because it's deemed unsafe. Ya, you can't repair a crack, only chips. Do you have insurance? It's considered a non responsible claim, all you do is pay your deductible. Shoulda kept your baby in storage.

yeah, you should have glass coverage on your insurance policy.

also, don't use cheap aftermarket windshield, not all glass is created equal.

Ya. Get some quotes and if it exceeds your insurance deductible then your better of going with insurance under comp. coverage.
