Scion of Des Moines in conjunction with Des Moines Scikotics will be having a weekend of all that is Scion. We will be having a Scion only car show on Historic Court Avenue. We will be having the car show on July 28th 2007 during "515 Alive, Des Moines Urban Music and Arts Festival." This festival has grown from 1,000 to over 10,000 people in less than 5 years. This year will feature over 75 music performers on 9 stages, traveling freak show, graffiti artists, break dancers, and t-shirt artists.

We will be working out a different group for judging and will have an overall people's choice winner. You don't have to have the most tricked out Scion to win. No cost to any Scion owner or passengers coming in a Scion. Everyone in your crew will get VIP passes for the event.

Scion of Des Moines will also unveil our new show car. The "Juice Box" will be retired and the Rado wide body kit Turbonetics turbo powered Scion tC will be unmasked and for all to view.

The following day, July 29th, will be an "All Import Car Show" held at Toyota & Scion of Des Moines from 11am to 3pm. All are welcome and there will be some special prizes handed out.

I don't have much Iowa love coming to Lasting Impressions either . . . I think the north is on vacation . . .

There is a parking lot at Grey's Lake and we can all meet there. On I-235, turn south at the MLK/Fleur exit and you will drive right by it. Remember, we are meeting up at 5 in the parking lot.
