I think we'll be fed pretty reguarly while we are there, although I will probably be in need of some grub around 11:30 - noon on wednesday. i don't know if they're doing food at our meeting, but they probably will. i guess i'll hit a hot dog stand or soemething while i look for mojito ingrediants

I'm sure the meeting will be a "working lunch". I don't want to eat too much since we are going to Gipson's for dinner. That place is stupid good. A steak there is as big as your head.

So for the mojitos chris is bringing gum and someone's bringing ice. I'll bring the sugar - cuz I'm so sweet

Real Alex, sushi always sounds great with you. Hey can you work on the weather there for us. I'd like above freezing temperatures with no wind.

And for all the newbies welcome to the group, like Scott said we are all chummy and you'll learn to love the troop

OK! I got my luggage today. It is way nice. My favorite thing is the alloy wheels it has on it! Everytime I turn around the corner...Bling Bling. Or something like that.

No fold out thingy, just the smaller bag inside of it.

my wife is cool with me bailing for vday, i am just celebrating early with her the weekend before. mmmm tapas, lol.

I think this whole mojito thing is going to work out, lol. we'll all do whatever after dinner and meet up in my room. chris was talking about hitting up a grocery store on the way to the airport for mint, shayns got sugar, we can all raid our rooms for glasses, ice will be in the hotel, i'll bring a bottle of alcohol, we can surely get sprite at the vending machines in the hotel. . .
what exactly is the recipe?

3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp sugar
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz light rum
club soda

In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lemon slice and the remaining mint, and serve.

OK so, club soda, not sprite, and lime juice. so we'll need some limes and some club soda. shayn's got sugar!

I think we should go out at least one night. I am still single so it would e fun. I don't know how single anyone else is but I am definitely down to go out. I think the Auto Show will be exciting enough to cure a hangover.

oh no, you misunderstood. AFTER we go out and everything is closed, we go to my room and enjoy the merriment of Mojito, lol.

Yes, I'll bring cards and poker chips if so desired. I'll have a bunch of money to lose after winning the presentation contest, lol.

THERE WE GO!! THAT'S THE KIND OF SPIRIT I WAS LOOKING FOR!

I, for one, would like to find out what I'm missing living in the "great" state of IOWA.

Besides, I'm sure these toyota guys that are hosting this little shin-dig for us wouldn't mind cutitng loose for a while. God knows their schedules have them locked up tigher than...well, you get the idea
