Superior Scion Event: Meet/Greet/Go-Kart Racing *EDIT 3/22*
I have great news! Superior Scion will host it's first Scion Owner's Event. If you have a Scion you are more than welcome to come to the Meet/Greet/Race.
3/25/07, 10AM Sunday Morning @
Superior Toyota/Scion
8400 Shawnee Mission Pkwy.
Merriam, KS 66202
The fun starts at 10AM at Superior Toyota/Scion and ends at Sadler's Indoor Kart Racing. We start off by having a catered breakfast, a little car show, and a caravan out to Sadler's for our racing event.
The show will consist of a popular vote wins for the xA, xB, and tC. We will be giving trophies for the Best xA, Best xB, Best tC, and Best of Show. Don't forget that we will have a raffle for all you guys and gals too.
The Sadler's event will be a full feature tournament style race with teams of 2 or 3 (depending on turnout). There are limited spots available for the kart racing (40 spots). We will have qualifiers for best times and pole positions too. The winning team will get a nice little trophy.
Register on our website, www.superiorscion.com to ensure your Sadler's racing spot. It doesn't cost you a thing. Just bring your Scion key and enjoy a few hours of intense racing action.
3/22
All the spots for the kart racing have been filled. Everyone that signed up is on the list. If anyone you know is not on the list, but is coming to Sadler's they have group discounts. I want our first show to be a blow-out please spread the word and tell all of your Scion friends to come to our show, you will not be disappointed.
If you have any questions, call Justin Hulshof or Johnny Luu at (913) 831-0800.

Any prize(s) for best lap times? Or is just going to be the warm fuzzy feeling I get from whoopin' Fredy on the track?

One more question. Is this going to be a safe event for my 3 year old? I have to bring him with me and I'll be by myself . . . can he ride on the go-karts with me even?

They have double seater karts for kids to ride in, just remember that your child is in the kart with you and wearing a helmet. I've seen dads take their kids out on track and then drive like Micheal Scumacher. Children aren't used to the extra weight of the helmet nor the G forces that these kind of karts can see. It's kinda funny, they end up lookin' like those dashboard bobble heads in an earthquake.
