Guys -

I just got back from Tucson and seeing my Dad (who just had 3 of his heart bypasses replaced 2 weeks ago) and I have PLENTY to be thankful for.

While we were there, he actually felt good enough to make a book signing at Saguaro West National Park for his his new children's book - Dr Bird to the Rescue.

Here is a picture of the cover and a few pictures from the book signing with him and Kevin (the artist for the book):

The book is available on-line through Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc... just type in Dr Bird to the Rescue in Google.

Anyway, I purchased three (3) copies which I had my father and Kevin sign to Ronald McDonald House for the 'Fill the Box' drive. I will be personally donating these to the Denver Ronald McDonald House library on behalf of my father and Kevin when we drive down on Dec 18th.

If you have a young child or grandchild in your life, please check out this book.

All the best -

Chris

Wow Chris that is great. Hopefully more people will be just as generous. Glad to see your father is doing well. Bring the book to the next meeting Saturday at Mountain States so we can all see it.

Thanks,

I was at Stevinson East and saw their car full of toys. This is really a great idea. Who thought of it? Can I come to the drive on the 18th? Should I bring a toy.

I had a neighbor who's family had to stay at the Ronald McDonald House once. I think it's great everyone is helping out these families.

Hey Crashtest,
You can definitely join us on the drive down to Ronald McDonald House on the 18th of December, if you want to bring a unwrapped toy that would be great. All Scion owners are WELCOME to join us on the Toy Drive. The boxes are at all the Scion dealers along the Front Range, so stop by any of them and take a look, we are doing a poll on our web site to vote for the best dealer display. So take a look at them and go to www.scionfusion.com and vote for your favorite dealer display.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone !!!
