nnj~I see you happen to live in the town I am researching right now, I gotta question please? How is Ramblewoods Apartments? They seem to be ok by their website and very cheap, considering down here in Florida. Thanx!

It is VERY hard to rent from afar. Every time I find a place we like, and email them, they respond it was just rented. Starting to think, they don't want any Floridians to move to Colorado, lol. The one today really bummed me, was in Loveland and I REALLY liked it. Oh well, my search begins again!

Best way to learn a new area, is by people who already live there.
I am a HUGE Scion fanatic, don't think I'll ever own anything again, but a Scion. I'm on my 3rd one now, and it is by far my favorite!
Again, hi and thanx in advance!

We found a place, in north Colorado Springs, off Dublin. But, we've pushed back moving till after Xmas, hopefully late January. Decided to stay longer, so we had one more Xmas w/ the families, since both of ours are here. Plus, hubby bought a truck this past weekend, so we have to build savings back up again.
NNJ~We don't need the U-Hual truck anymore, just a LARGE trailer, pulled by a F150. Can you hook me up w/ that? I'll have a better date for you, near Xmas.
Thanx!

Hey there,
Also just wanted to say welcome to Colorado! I also live up in Fort Collins, and I love it up here. It is a college town, but it's still a very nice family town. If you're looking for a place near many job opportunities, I would think that the Denver metro area would be best. I am originally from Broomfield, which is between Boulder and Denver, and that's a great town to raise a family. I don't know too much else about housing (I'm only 19), but obviously anyone else on here is MORE than happy to help you! Also, ScinergyCO is a great group of people who will help you with just about anything you need...you'll see that when you move in

COS Schools
I relocated to the CO Springs area last year. First thing I checked was the local school districts, because I have two high school students. This site is good for all of the USA.
http://www.greatschools.net/
Good districts are 12 and 20.
Avoid district 11 and housing areas in the southern part of the city at all cost.
