Yeah when I saw the silver tweeters I knew then they would look factory. Also you can point them in any direction. I was also able to use aftermarket Polk grills all they way around in the doors ( I've never been able to fit grills in factory doors) & you can see I used 3 sets of rcas so I would have full control over fading in each zone. Crossovers in the front are mounted on the sides of the center lower dash piece. I can't wait for you guys to hear it!!!

Shadezz, just an idea, but I think those tweeters and trim rings would look good stark white. And what was the name of that tire shine you used at the CUSCC Show?

I slid through the stop sign and was hit in the rear quarter panel. The car flipped onto the drivers side... Insurance has already claimed it a total loss... Its terribly depressing that my toaster is totaled. On the plus side Im not getting out of the scion game. I think I will look into a Gen 2 or a Tc... something with a better range of aftermarket avalibility. Im not abandoning the club I will hopefully be in a new scion by june... I hope. Im on the hunt, but for now Im going to say that I will not be at the Show on the 10th.

I know this is a little after the fact of your post...but if you're still on the hunt for your new/newer Scion ride. In the Ft. Collins area, I have a very good "in" w/ Pedersen's Toyota/Scion for years. From sales, service, and Owners. Years back I was a Northern CO chapter president for a different Scion Owner's club and even held Scion club and Toyota/Scion sponsored shows at their dealership. And at one of them even had the (at least then) owner of a 1st gen B trailer in his baby that had over 60 grand put into it...quite the sight/sound to behold.... well you get the point. lol.. things like that.
So if there's any way I can help ya out, just let me know.
(goes w/o saying, as sad as it is, cars (our babies) can be replaced, but glad at least YOU came out all intact.)

Here ya go....I was thinking super white with about 5 layers of clear coat on window switches and rings...Radio bezel too!!

Make sure you let it dry for about an hour before driving...touch up every few days after. I sometimes use a hair dryer to speed the process up.

Do it! that would look really clean. And thanks! My mom was looking for it for her car.

Actually Peterson has helped me out a lot. I ordered a brand new one from them it's relatively stock except for spoiler and floor mats. I was going to get wheels but I want something different. Just playing the waiting game. I got confirmation that the car is now on American soil so any day now :-D

I'm thinking about doing a lime green and black with mine when it gets here. I've got the modding flu and this wait is killing me...

I've been trying to find a color combo for mine when I start getting parts and lime green was on the list...

It's really hard to find a color combo that hasn't been done before. White and black? done. White and orange? done. White and red? done. White and blue? done...

I want to do something you don't see very often or ever.

I think every color combo has been done. It's just a matter of how you do it. Hell you could do blue and white and find a different shade of blue. Or in the case of my gen 1 I did the tcm an orange, but I used a design to make it stand out.

I agree, it's not so much your color palette as you execution. Van Gogh and Warhol had access to the same colors but their creativity is what made their art different.

Although, white and gold would be fun.

If the satin black isn't flat I would say go that route it would make your tint and your rims pop out. But if its flat then go SW

I agree with Toaster about the spoiler.

And Hayes, if you found some gold wheels, you'd be set.
