Scinergy Members! Wanna Do A Show This Summer?
The City of Loveland is working on details for a Car Show this Summer to help promote their newest park location "Loveland Sports Park" (on Hwy 34 just west of I-25 in Northern Colorado). The park opened at the end of the Summer last year, and has a bunch of cool amenities!
Here's a map of the park layout with the parking lot that will be for the show area highlighted in purple (it parks about 200 cars I think...).
Here's a link to the map in PDF format, so you can zoom in and see the details about the park better too:
http://www.ci.loveland.co.us/parksre..._park3_Ltr.pdf
Of course, this is still in the works, so details are pending.
They're looking at July or August dates, and with the other shows we usually attend, I think it may be best to shoot for early-mid August instead for this. Maybe August 11th?
What do you guys think? Maybe we could make this a benefit for Absolute's relative that was hit by a car while riding her bicycle last year in Fort Collins? She could sure use the financial help to offset her recovery expenses, and we could have lots of fun doing the show too!

Do you wanna be the MC Frosty? I can let them know we have that covered, if you're willing!
The only thing to keep in mind is this is totally going to be a family event, so we'll have to be sure to keep all the content "clean"...and I know you're good at that, Frosty. Thanks for offering!

No problem Absolute!
Here's that link you sent us to that footage on 9News about your Uncle (Wyatt Earp), and his wife's time at Craig Hospital, so everyone can see and might want to help us to benefit her recovery too!
http://www.9news.com/news/local/arti...?storyid=64975
(Don't forget to click on the link to the video footage off of that 9News page, and you'll see Absolute's Aunt on the stage there too!)
Absolute- I know you won't be able to make it to MC's this weekend, but glad to hear you'll be back to MC's the next weekend after that, so we can discuss the show plans more then, K?
I'm gettin' so ready for show season! ...and this will be a great place to hang out on a hot summer day!
The park is so new though, that everyone will have to remember their sunscreen since the trees aren't big enough to provide shade out there yet. There's a few picnic shelter areas, and a spray park area to get wet in though if we need to cool off too.

Thanks for the offer Rocketgyrl! I'm sure there will plenty for everyone to help with as we get closer to the date.
I'm going to sit down and discuss this show more with the Management Staff over the next few weeks, and get the details ironed out... It could be huge!

Hey, Absolute! It was really nice to see you last weekend! ...and thanks for the update about your Aunt!
Hey Everyone! She has now been able to go home from the hospital, but is still needing alot of recovery time and alot of support! This is going to be a long road for her, and I'm just so glad she can be at home with her family now too!

Hey Foxtrot, I've had my D70s for almost 2 years now, and I still haven't had time to learn all it will do! Good luck with that! But it sure is fun learning, huh?
