Yeh, I don't know who those judges at the John Elway show were...but they won't be the ones at this show!

Hey Absolute!-
I want to be sure to have a donation sign and stuff out there for your Aunt too...will you let us know how she is doing now, and a little more info? Maybe if you could PM me with her name for the sign, and maybe send me a photo or something to put on the sign, that would be great!
Of course a portion of the proceeds of the show will also be donated to her, so we are hoping to have a huge turnout!
Speaking of which...is your Dad gonna bring out his car again this year? It would be a great thing if he would, since it will help your Aunt too!

Remember everyone!
Car show entry is $20 for each car, truck, or motorcycle showing for a shot at a trophy...That means all of us that want to try for a trophy have to pay! ...if you don't want to compete in the show for trophies, you can still show your car and not pay, but you will also not be judged!

Hey Guys!
We just got another vendor booth on board today through "Greenwell Energy". They will be selling E85 conversion kits out there that day.
Now we just need a few more vendors to make this a well rounded car gathering!
If you happen to talk to any prospective vendors, please let them know that they can sell their merchandise out there that day, or just show their wares...the vendor ap is online at the City of Loveland site...
Thanks!

Yeah bsp, I'll give you a call tonight. After work, I'm going up to Fort Collins so maybe you and Scott could meet me somewhere for some dinner and we can discuss all this and I can give you more details? I'll probably be going up there around 6:30-7ish

Bad news due to the cost of airfare and Colorado labor laws I have to fly out on the day of the show. I still may be able to help out in the morning of the show but head out at noon to catch my flight. I am so sorry bsp-tc. I will keep you updated

Oh, we understand Fader! Don't feel bad. It's hard to juggle work, family, and the car shows too! Believe me, we know!
If you are able to help, great, but if not, that's okay too!

Sounds good Absolute!
We may need to get some flyers distributed to the cruisers that go to "Hot Berthoud Nights" this evening and maybe some to Loveland or Fort Collins places too, but we would love to meet for dinner!
Give us a call when you get up north, and we'll come meet you somewhere!

Okay, I just got another vendor in place for the day!
"Stan's Auto Service" is going to set up a booth and bring a car to show. They will display what they have done, and what they can do!

I also just went and ordered the trophies, (since they had to be ordered at least two weeks in advance of the show).
We got a discount for putting them together ourselves too!
So, we may need to have a night of putting trophies together on the Thursday or Friday before the show!
Anyone up for a trophy party?

Cool! Maybe we can do it somewhere a bit farther up north though? I hate to ask everyone to drive up on that Thursday or Friday night, and then come back again Saturday morning for the show, but otherwise we would have to haul all the trophies both ways ourselves...just not sure where we should do it.

Hey, thanks Absolute! That's a great idea!

If anyone wants to come up and help put trophies together on that Friday night before the show, then they could stay over and come to the show the next morning too!
I have requested that Friday off of work, so I can focus on the show and the preparations with it AND our car too! (plus Amber may be coming up on the 9th to stay the weekend and help too, so I wanna be there with her).
So, if anyone wants to come that Thursday night to help, we can do it then too!
I just want to involve the club members in the show prep as much as we can too, so we aren't trying to do it all ourselves!
Thanks guys!

Frosty & Josh!
Hey guys! Do you remember what happened to the tricycles after the John Elway show last year? Do you think they are still around anywhere that we can use them again this year?
Josh!
I just want to make sure you are still on board with bringing your sound equipment and generator, etc. to the show...
As soon as you get back from your trip, please get in touch about it? Thanks soooo much!

WooHoo!
Thanks so much Hax!
I'll just have to make sure he's bringing his generator then, or else there won't be power to the PA!
It's coming together guys!
Thanks for all your help!

Josh has a generator? I know he wanted to get one... You might want to talk to him about that.

Ummm, well, I could've sworn back in the beginning of this thread somewhere he said he would have one for the show...
Yeh, I'll be sure to doublecheck that for sure!

If not, I will need to rent one or buy one for the day, unless anyone else has one they want to bring too?

There is storage on-site for the show, so any equipment that needs to be stored before hand can be brought up anytime and stored safely until the day of the show also...
