aaah! i cant take it anymore!!! these brakes are ____ing me off and i wont have the rotors till late feb-early march. im just going to autozone and getting cheapy duralast rotors/pads in the mean time. should run me about $94.13, but i guess it's worth my safety. or maybe i should just get cheapy brake pads and resurface the rotors? what do you guys think? i'd save myself $50 and i only need the rotors for 2 months. i dunno, i'd feel bad getting rid of the duralast rotors when theyd practically be brand new.

i just need the cheapest solution for the next two months. i have dezod brake pads chilling in the crib and im waiting on brembo to send the rotors.
duralast pads are 25.99 and i think resurfacing my two front rotors would be about 10 bucks. i think that should do and get rid of all the squealing going on down there.
HEY DOES ANYONE HAVE THAT STUPID MEASURING THING TO MEASURE ROTOR THICKNESS? im not even sure i have enough metal on there to turn em.
thx in advance ladies.

Just give them the email address you registed with paypal, and as long as you have confirmed the bank account in your paypal account your fine.
Make sure after you recieve your money into your paypal account, you transfer it to your bank account, or else it just remains in your "account" @ paypal.
They have there own bank too.
Transfer from them to your paypal is instant, transfer from your paypal to your bank account takes 2-3 days.

So I researched aluminum and copper, and this is the conclusion I have come to.
Aluminum gaskets are good because they expand (with heat) and compress (with cold) more than copper. So no need to retighten bolts as often as with a copper gasket. Aluminum is weak though.
Copper gaskets are a lot tougher, but they don't expand/compress as well as aluminum, meaning you'll need to retighten the bolts more often than aluminum.
So now i'm deciding whether or not to reuse the copper gasket till the other one gets here. I don't know when the new gasket will arrive, since the holiday season is backing up everything being shipped.
I'm thinking of removing it, and taking a look at it, i'm pretty sure its not warped. I wonder if I should have it machined flat.
Anyone know where I can get a machined flat surface surgery performed on a gasket? lol
