Well I got some shocking news, that I forgot to mention.
Somebody tried to steal my car this morning @ about 3-4am.

I was up programming some .net, I usually look at my car every now and then, cause i'm paranoid like that. I noticed this odd looking dude, walking past a couple of times, on seperate occasions. He gets up beside, my car and start looking inside. At this point i'm like WTF. He then walks away and proceeds to make a phone call. Like 3-5mins later, he's back with 1 more person. I called the cops by this time.

They are no where to be freaking found, yet. I'm pretty sure they were gonna bust my window or something. A few seconds later they see the cops, and they jet.

I'm guessing its the same people, that stole my friends car, across the street a few weeks back!

I think its time I get those jdm horns jason has, lol.
A better alarm system as well. Maybe find some hi-temp black paint, spray the intercooler, and put the bottom grill back on. Make it more inconspicuous.

On the real tip, it must be scary to live in paranoia someone is gonna steal your car hopefully they got run over running back home

I've only been paranoid, since my friend got his car stolen a few week ago. He literally lived across the street. Before that I was fine. They stole his car, stripped it, and left it in hialeah.

I'm gonna move in 2 month, so I won't be paranoid anyway, lol. A better alarm system would make me sleep better at night, though.

i've had my previous car stolen... once that happens to you.. yes you loose alot of sleep and worry about it all the time... its something im still fighting with everyday since sept. 17 of 2005

 

I think its a conceiled weapon permit. I'm pretty paranoid too, someone stole the chin spoiler(front lip) of my car about 2 weeks ago, so I sleep with shorts on and a bat behind the front door.

 

Thats crazy...glad to know they didn't get away with it though.

 

Dam, its been that long. Thats a lot of lost sleep. Glad i'm not the only one who feels that way. I didn't know if I should run out like a mad man, with a metal bat or not. At least they didn't break anthing.

 

That sucks bro. Is it easy to remove a front lip? I don't know, since i've never installed one. If it is, I guess thats another reason people get the lip molded.

I feel like driving my brothers old car for a while, and having him drive my car.

 

They got away with my attenna. Yea I know at least its not the car. But stealing is stealing. Yea I buy parts often, but I really do work a lot to pay for all the stuff. Full-time job + contract work. Still hurts that I lost my attenna, even though it was only like $12.

I hope karma lands those bastards in jail.

its not like the trd lip, its just a plastic lip that goes from one side to the other, yea its easy, its got 5 clips holding it up. I thought it was cheap to replace, but it cost $130. My car is in the shop now, I ran over a blown tire on the turnpike and it bent my fender and cracked my sideskirt, .

Carlos, ouch. I still need to replace my fender liners, i think thats what its called, the thing under the fender, sort of like a mudguard. I lost both of those a long time ago.

 

Sucks to hear about that Serg..u should electrify your entire car so it zaps whoever touches it haha
