just got back... i had originally copied a map off of aems forum and it seemed to work. started up just like normal and idled fine... for a bit. as i was checking out the gauge function on the laptop, my laptop freazes up... and i dont know if that had anything to do with it, but then my car starts to idle like it wants to die. turned off the car, restarted the proggy on laptop, started up the car again and it starts better, but the idle wants to die off.
Only things ive adjusted on the fic are:
Ive calibrated the rpmsand TPS so thats working as it should. And I adjusted the map fuel map. I havent touched any of the other settings... yet
On a side note, i noticed my boost gauges isnt marking vac as it used too.. kinda just stuck at 0. I think its cause i tapped the same line i have going to the boost gauge with the one going directly to the fic. Ill correct that tomorrow.. hopefully

true... only reason im stressin now is cause i need my car up and running by next monday.. im starting school and cant use the wifies car... doh!

So i just got the car back. I didn't push it because i want to break it in properly. Initiall impressions are the clutch feels awsome. A bit stiffer and it engages real early but nothing i can' live with. Rev's do drop and go up quicker but i havn't really had a chance to get on it and see the difference. Im going to have ot adjust when im just launching normally because the lighter flywheel does make it a tad more difficult but nothing major. Overall I LOVE it.
Mechanic charged me 400 though and not he 250. That im not happy about. W.e its done. The BPV just came in as well, im trying to figure out whether i should use the green or yellow spring and then im gona install it.

^Im suppose to run the green spring but ive been hearing that the yellow feels better. But im afraid of messing up the blower wth a spring thats too stiff. Also, ive been reading that if you install it upside down when you shift in boost it sounds really nice. But upside down it leaks boost so its better to run a stiffer spring. So I don't really know what the hell to do lol

did u ask him why he went from 250-400?? maybe it was more work because of the s/c but either way thats a huge jump..
but congrats JP on getting it.. when its broken in i wana ride!! lol..
