So i found out that the s/c stuttering at idle isn't my spark plugs. Its the bearings going bad.....time to get it back to stock. The header is already coming off but now i gota do the pulley to.

And that dealership that i took it to is gona tell me nothing is wrong so i gota try another. Johnny, I remember you telling me somthing about a guy named Mario?

bro, get the rebuild kit this guy kikcaffine is selling. that thing would be bullet-proof.

theres a guy at headquarter toyota named claudio who put my new s/c in. no problems to date. the problem with these dealers is that they have these refs that dont believe in torque wrenches and just torque crap down as much as possible. claudio made sure everything was to spec. they had to use a breaker bar to remove the main s/c pulley bolt because of how much they tightened it. lol.

 

Yea but idk how i feel about tearing apart the s/c....and $400 plus 1 way shipping is alot of money for him to do it.

let try to keep in touch all 3 of us to see how this weekend plays out.. also denny i might have a spring install on saturday.. so that might set back some time we can touch yours possibly...but not a major push..if your planning on going at 12 or 1.. then ill be done regardless...so it works out..

i think the toyota emblem is fine. a lot of cars on here cross breed taking ideas from honda, nissan, mitsubishi, etc so i think if you stay within the toyota family, it's not rice. lexus is crossing the line because they didn't develop anything on our cars.
