johhny dont get mad lol.. i PSed a few pics..

instead of burning.. use image>adjustments>colors or image>adjustments>curves

using those you'll get better outcomes for the pics.. from there you can use a little burning but make the brush large and set it for midtones and highlights (atleast for these pics) and set the pressure to 50% and do loong strokes with the a large brush.. not small strokes with a small brush.. thats why your getting those blotches of darkness..

also at the end.. play with the brightness/contrast settings and that will help sometimes give the pic that extra pop. see below.
i dunno if anyone is gonna like these better..sooo..




i did these at work kinda fast... the pics are a tad grainy.. if i had the original large ones they would have come out crisper..

thats what i do, i just use the curves balance. but i try to take the pics with enuff exposure that i dont have to even edit them
