^Which coilovers did you buy? And what are you going to do with the H-Techs?

Yea its extremely difficult. I got most of the bolts out and such. But there were 2 that I couldn't take off for the life of me. So I was like f**k it. I can't be so many days without a car.

So its going back together. Depending on how much it costs to do the swap. I might consider, getting low compression pistons, rods, bearings, and such, and call it a day.

Also might sell the spare short block. I don't know, just kinda running out of steam for this whole project =/

I wish i had air tools, lol.

If I did, I don't think it could work in the limited amount of space I was working in.

The bolt I had trouble with, was holding the belt tensioner.

I'm definitely gonna change my whp goal for this year.
I know sleeved is the way to go but for now I just don't see it happening. I wonder how much boost the block can hold safely by just upgrading the rods and pistons. Installing the cometic gasket, arp headstuds and walbro fuel pump I have.

I'd be happy with 14-18lbs of boost. Obviously I won't need to be boosting that daily lol. Just when we hit the track.

Hmm.. the more I think about it the more I want to go this route.

Also, if I do upgrade the pistons (stock size) now, all I would have to worry about later is getting the sleeves with the stock bore.

Sounds like a plan =p

hmmm... I hope the cylinders aren't scored. I've used synthetic for the life of the engine.

Anyone know if I have have to get the engine bored/honed to swap in some better pistons and rods?

I have been kind of busy today but if you are going tonight we will talk about your project. I will be there about 8:15pm.
