yes/no... depends on the ems... some tune off a pressure sensor, some tune off a w/b... some tune off of what the MAF is reading but thats rarely used... most tune off w/b and or IE greddy pressure sensor = ultim. and blue (by greddy)

In my setup it is after the turbo, before the T/B

Yes, a standalone AEM, but in my other turbo cars we did the same. Its actually better, you get a better reading, remember the blow out valve dispose a great deal of air (you dont want to add fuel for that air) that explain the returned air line going back to the air filter in some cars. Stock Supra, Rx7 are some examples.

doing it that way forces the ECU and EMS to read almost like an OB2a system.. were the air sensor is typically built into the TB...also known as the IACV but in electrical form vs mechanical were its constant.... definitely a first for me to see it ran that way on a tc... was that lance that placed it there rick?

i thought the only difference between obd2a and obd2b were the plugs on the ecu. what are the other differences and what makes one better than the other??

Turbo is a nice thing, this is my 5th turbo car and I love it. I was thinking to sell it but I thin I got the bug again and now I plant to go 500+whp....what?

I am not the expert on the subject, I do not know the difference, sorry.

*** I am working with Lance in Miami and Pito from Puerto Rico, he has done some tc's with 500+whp. I just start it my project today and are planing on doing 500+ whp on my tc. the extra 100 hp will not be an easy task but is achievable. My goal is to get 500whp with pump gas and be able to drive it everyday and have a reliable tc. I will post all info for those interested. So far am working with the exhaust manifold, more fuel, head work and a custom intake with a bigger T/B....
