Hey pete, I spoke to Kiko. He'll be working on my car in 2 weeks. Its not so bad. I was expecting at least 1 month, lol.

I asked him a bunch of questions, he is very knowledgeable.

He said he could take my cylinder head to get it resurfaced. I'm thinking I should tell him to give me the cylinder head once he removes it, so I can take it to the mesa balancing. To save myself some money.

I'll be done buying all the internals for the bottom/top end by end of may. My contract job ends probably some time in june. After that i'm taking some much needed vacation time.

Right now I have a ACT Street/clutch pressure plate which was installed for a while now. But I never got to use it to its full extent because my 5th gear was f**ked up since before I had the original stock clutch problem.

The pressure plate i'm sure is reusable. The clutch probably has some wear, not sure how much since I haven't seen it.

 

Lets just saying i'm shooting for a lot more than the act street clutch can handle. =)
