The way I do it, is I put my fingers on top of the injectors, I can feel the injectors firing.

The other way i've done it, is taken out the fuel rail, and left the injectors on the fuel rail. Put a bag or towel under the injectors. Then have somebody crank, to see if they are all firing evenly.

I may be on a tangent here. But, denny how clean is your air filter????

If it is dirty, your getting less air then usual, which mean the gas to air ratio is higher. So technically you should be running richer, so the ecu compensates by leaning it out.

Just another possiblity.

yea but he needs to check his soldering points again... if before when he first start they were idling better and only when he touched them it got worse he might have to start from scratch and do it again... taking his time, drink a beer, smoke a log, and get back to it.

injectors could be clogged or gotten clogged when they were taken out. so cleaning would be good to do.

to test the injector he can run an injector test ( if its available on the emanage and the laptop will send signals to the injector to test it...) most ems systems have it like aem, mega squirt, etc etc... another way is to check the amount of OMHz the injectors are putting out... denny jus needs to get a OHM meter and check how many OHMz his injectors put out by knowing the amount of reistance the injectors are supose to flow. should be between 14-16 or 16-18 OHMz im not sure.. i forgot but he can look it up because different sized injectors needs different amounts of OHMz. another way is to do it is to take the injectors to a machine shop that does injector testing and he can go that route also...test the resistance of each injector pin to a body ground and be sure to use the same ground for each injector. With the injectors unplugged, it should show an open loop (no resistance).

if that turns out ok, plug the connector back in a go back to the clips. turn the car to "on". Test the voltage of each terminal on the clip. One terminal (striped wire IIRC) should show battery voltage and the other should show zero voltage (signal). another way is also pull the injectors out with the rail intact if possible and crank. You will then see the spray of the injectors.

phew thats alot of writing... taking it to a shop should be the very last thing denny does... but just testing and comparing all the injectors should solve the issue of were the problem is unless he starts from scracth again...

pete whats the word on those lugs? also i have a brand new set of the version 2 Dezod rear endlinks still in box, maybe we can do a trade + cash? still have my old version 1s too.

lmk since im interested in buying just the lugs either way
