did my rotors, pads, bleed yesterday. everything went well so if anyone ever needs helps with brakes, let me know - i'm more than happy to help. i have the slotted stop-tech's (the ones cedric has) with dezod brake pads. for the fluid, i went with wilwood 570 cuz i wanted to stay with a dot3.
happy bday javi.
happy bday javi.
Happy Birthday Javi!
Looks like your party was a blast =)
Notice a difference with the slotted stop-techs??
Also why did you get dot3 and not dot5?

nah, didn't really notice a difference. havent really had a chance to step on them hard because im breaking them in nicely.
didn't get dot5 cuz its not hydroscopic and i dont want to deal with vapor lock (although i doubt it'll happen cuz i'm not tracking the car). also, i didn't want to mix fluids. i couldve gone with a dot4 but i'd be mixing and i dont race so it's kinda pointless to have a brake fluid with a boiling point of over 600 degrees. so yeah, i got the 570. lol.
i'll probably do the stainless steel lines soon. i've heard that makes a bigger difference than anything else.

I'll just have to google it, lol.
SS steel lines pwn. I noticed a lot less squishy feeling with them on. Hopefully its not just a placebo effect =p hah
I do need to get new rotors though. I'm thinking stop-tech. I heard they are heavier than stock (I guess cause they are bigger), but I guess the trade off is more heat dissipation.
Let me know how they feel after you break them in.
