hi guys... just stopped to tell you guys a lil story...
im working at the hollywood dealership (doing some design on the outside) and a guy was asking Leslie that who's tC is that ( he was pointing at my car)

so he comes to me and telling me how nice my car.. etc
so we go out and showed me his car.. he had eyelids and Lexus badge on the front etc and here is the best part, he said:

"i want to get an EURO front license plate to complete my JDM look"


i didnt say anything he was about to ask me to do some grafx on his car but i almost laughed...

 

hehehe euro plate for jdm look.... lol

 

i have a euro plate but its for for any kind of 'look' lol

 

i saw it i saw that car with the lexus badge lmao Armando (yanki box) showed me a pic of it i LOL'D...

still have some minor fixes to take car of but its moving.. joe, sergio, denny lol i saved the old seal so u guys can see how bad it was!!!

i also now know how to remove the intermediate shaft (OMG next time we do a clutch this HASSSSS to be done.. it would have made life alot easier guys for ALL the clutches lol )

last night i had eric and another friend cuesta basically take the entire car apart again and put it back together... im dead.

 

Yea I want to see that seal.

Also, in order to take out the intermediate shaft, i'm assuming the other axle has to be removed as well?

And... OMG you removed everything, again???? lol ouch!!

 

yea we took apart both sides, removed the tranny, put in the NEW tranny (hehe it was finished on tuesday night) i took the day off tuesday to take the car apart myself then all of wed. me, cuesta, and eric put everything back together again.. replaced the seals and boxed up the old tranny to be stored away in abuelitos backyard house.

for the intermediate shaft, 2 bolts by the axle, and pretty much the same way we did the other side only this time we poped the tie rods out and that made it alot easier to work and take out the axles.. yes it was a nightmare but it will be worth it... the fked up part the tranny was completed later then friday which is why i stuck with the old one.. w.e lol its ON now lol.. and i only need to fix 2 more things.. the clutch engagement which i PMed u sergio about...and a small squeak im getting from the brakes.. im gonna try to look at that today

dude i dont think anyone was more mad then me lol.. seriously one of the most stressful times ive ever had with any car. lol

honestly, i have at one point thought about parting out the tc, going back to stock and selling it, ive also thought about just keeping it the way it is without putting anymore money into it, but things are still in the air. id love to keep it as my dd since mostlikely the 240s gonna be down for awhile, but the partout has crossed my mind. im really getting into the idea of getting the 240 though. aside from that, a 350z has also entered my mind, but for the price and oldschool styling, the 240 is still at the top of my list

 

Yea I feel you man....its crossed my mind too for the porsche...

will do homie... not something id really LIKE to do, but its an option. car runs well, just have a catch can sitting in my comp room for the past 6mos to put in.... aside from that, maybe clean it up a bit, but thats about it... im fairly sure i dont want to spend anymore money on it. for where its at, its good for me. financially, just have to pay off some stuff, and negociate with the wifey, (if i get something, she wants something of greater or equal value...lol) so im looking at possibly 6-12mos before im ready to look for it. Ive been doing the research on it for awhile now, but just recently is when i joined the 240sx boards and im getting a great amount of info.

 

i would part out.. keep it as a nice stock daily with some NA mods to still be quick and use the extra money for the 240

which way you wana go denny.. SR red, sr black, rb, KA ??? you know u can pump out alot of 350+ whp on a KA alone.. if u need info i have a friend whose KA is in the 500's all day!
