I heard what happened bro.. sucks ****! hvae you talked to a dealer to find out what your options are? Will you be able to use the ,"factory recall" excuse?

 

na, the recall was for '05s and was a film they put on the deflector so WEN/IF it does break the glass will not fall on you inside the car!!

Dealers are just crooks....no warranty option for me

 

damn homie.. that sucks... talk to kevin the jamaican. I believe he works in the parts dept at one of the scion locations. Bet he can give you a good deal

bro, get your owners manual. theres something in there about the sunroof and what the maximum speed is you shouldn't exceed when driving with the sunroof open. i would go to the dealer and be like " yo, i was only driving at xxmph and the POS shattered". make sure the speed you say is under whatever's in the manual and you should be covered. seriously, you werent doing anything wrong...

I personally liked how ur car looked b4 with the rs lip now that i'm looking at these pics, eventho, the stock oem gfx looks great...but i dunno, the rs looks more aggressive. cool pics brew

 

the dealer doesnt know that. i would hammer out the rest of the glass so it looks like it was shattered while driving. lol.

 

The warranty/recall is not for the glass breakin but for the glass not coming into the cabin

Gratz on the trophies. I wish I could have gone. I was doing a poop load of rewiring in my car this weekend, also did a butt dyno tune =)

Fixed the annoying sound coming from the radiator fans hitting a charge pipe, LOL.

Re-hosed the hoses connected to the DBC sensor in the engine bay. Looks neater now.

TRD LSD ordered *WooOoOooot*

All i need now is a used transmission and to save up for it for the next couple of weeks, cause mine is shot to hell.

All in all a good week.

 

i liked the rs too brew, but it was all about money, i wanted a full lip kit.. that kid sold it to me for $400. my rs needed to be repainted because it had so many chips.. that woulda been about 150, plus to paint the sides i had and to actually buy a rear lip..... so i said fucck it ill get the kit for $400 and sell everything i had.. i like it tho i think it makes the car more complete

bro in all honesty i dont know why people think it has something to do with car shows and how people are at car shows... this is just more of how people in general are sometimes. inconsiderate, immature, and str8 up players to there own game. i dont care about the retirees, or the rico suaves or the fakers to the industry and attention ******...thats all fine and dandy and if they are happy and leave me alone its all good.... its just you kinda expect people to be respectful and considerate and act a certain way and when they dont its a huge disappointment. i know you were doing it for fun jason and trying to get me to go beleive me I WANTED TO GO..but i had other arrangements that i needed to attend that day and i couldnt brake them. thats a good chunk of the reason i didnt go..that and just for my own personal reason i didnt really feel like going to the show.

but the next show im sure ill be able to make it out and show love like every other day lol... im just hoping i dont have to put up with the same stupid ____ as i did in headquarter... i dont think next time ill be nice and keep quiet..

I just wanted to say THANK YOU...for coming out yesterday...it was great seeing you all and getting to meet everyone I haven't met before....I hope you all had fun...and much congratulations to Johnny & Juan on their trophies....Congrats!

I personally had a great time and I just wanted to Thank you all for coming out and supporting the dealership but most of all me...I really appreciate it...you guyz are bad a*s...and I know I really don't get to see you all to often but it was a privelege to have you and be a part of the show!
