I tried to get some stuff done under warranty at hollywood toyota a while back when my only mod was an injen cai, and they were real a--holes about it, they were blaming the CAI on the 3rd gear problem. I was like wth.

I left the car at the dealer to get it checked out, because I can't miss work. When I came back during my lunch time (2hrs later) they said they had already removed the transmission, checked out the gears and put the the transmission back on, "BS!".

So I was like, ok, if you did remove it what are the pieces that are damaged so I can get it repaired instead of paying for a new transmission + install for 3000 dollars (approximate quote from dealer). He walked away to his office and pretended to call from his cell, he didnt even pretend to mouth any words. Its shady people/dealers like that, that really ____ me off.

I'd rather pay for a used car next time, and upgrade the car out of pocket, than have to deal with people/dealers like that.

Anytime you need work done speak to one of our fellow Scion owners over at Hollywood before going. We've got a few guys (not 1up, but still, people we know and apart of SL) that can help you out without having to deal with the warranty BS. We were just discussing this topic at our Scikotics meeting Tuesday night actually.

 

haha... I'm not gonna buy anything on Wednesday. I just want to go walk the place to finally know that I am less than a mile away from IKEA instead of having to shop at the Philly IKEA and waiting months for my Dad to drive the RV down with all the stuff that I bought. LOL

it depends on the lighting...and how much exposure i wana set out.. sometime ill set it on the LONNNG exposure shot in the SCN(scene) section with a +1 or +2 OEV. that way i can take in as much light as i can...other times ill set is on the P or M setting and use the little snowman or the night settings and set the exposure at 0 ...the eso is usually at 200 for both somes ill change it to 400... night shots are hard and it usually takes me a few shots of messing with the setting to get it were i want it... best thing is to use NO FLASH always...thats what i do.. every cam is dif kinda.. next time you see me take the cam and ill set it up for you.
