Instead of baking them open this time, I think i'll just cut it open using a dremel, only cutting the black plastic on the back side, and then using silicone to close it back up. Cutoff is easy is enough just some trial and error. My sanding and painting skills are lacking though. Top leds, I like the idea of using the stock eyebrows (i still have them) to cover them up.

I might also change out the leds (burnt out) in the eyebrow for the ones that we use in the license plate courtesy lights (type 194 i think is the size), just a thought. I'll change the leds, and if I don't like it, i'll disable it, either way stock eyebrow is definitely going in.

I think your better off baking them open, just make sure u sand down all the surfaces your gonna paint...

and for god sakes man repaint your rims, get rid of the crome trim, ur car would look much better like that

I knowwwww i've been meaning to do that, i've just been sorta busy street tuning my car for the past two weeks.

I'll try baking one slowly this time, who knows maybe i'll do it right this time.

Chrome trim is going off today, I got tired of the cheap look. I took out the diamond plate floor mats inside as well going back to good old factory scion mats.

Rims, i'll probably clean, sand, prime, wetsand, prime, wetsand, prime, dry, paint, dry, paint, clear coat. Hopefully it comes out better than last time. Gonna be a lonnnnng weekend.

que bola ppl. im bored at home now. haha. oh and after really looking at my car, the mechanic determined its the idler pulleys that need to be swapped out for some reason. so i guess it wasnt the bearings and i guess i wont be getting a new supercharger =( lol. i guess thats not too bad, actually. i just want it to sound normal. and by normal, i mean sexy.

In other news, I fixed the hoses, and got them tie wrapped and clamped properly. I was able to boost to 0.8 bar this time, WOOOT!

That part of the fuel and spark map still needs some tuning. So in a couple of days I'll work the kinks out, I can't wait.

 

sad sad day for me... ive made a large decision... no more 11.1 ... block is being taken off and im going back to a stock block?? ... i will be using the money to fund my 2 other projects both of which shall remain a secret.

sad day sad day... this saturday ill be taking it all apart at the 1up garage and leaving it there for storage ...the new one is at the crib and ill be taking it there saturday morning with one of my buddies for a transplant..
