ok well i guess i'll start the typical complaining. someone has to do it so i guess i'll just come out and do it. over all the show was good. good turnout, great people and alot of fun times!! now the negative was that not all the judges were good. some of them had NO IDEA what they were looking at or talking about. i'll leave it at that. the other main thing i've heard was that people weren't in the right category. some that should have been wild were mild and some that were wild should have been mild. the only things i would change would be those two things. make sure everyone is in the right category and make sure you got judges that know these cars and the stuff thats done to them!!
I wasnt at that show, and I knew that was going to happen. LOL>

There was no doubt it was a great show. The pics were awesome. Lots of nice rides.

But its funny that once again, another Scion show, with more judging complaints. And I assure you there will be more. Maybe those complaining should just not attend anymore Scion only shows. I myself am one who has decided that. To avoid arguments over the same stuff. OVER AND OVER.

Ungrateful people. Many people worked hard to put this show on for you....and again...people complain about judging.

Throw a JDM show.

Next year we will just do trophies for the xA and xB categories as follows:

JDM xA - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th,.....wait...only 1 JDM xA was there.

JDM xB - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th,.....wait...only 2 JDM xB's were there.....

Amazing that JDM actually had its own category....wait...I see a complaint coming there....it was JDM/VIP...my bad.

Maybe the tC owners should complain more so we can get a performance category. I think there were 6 turbo tC's there.... One of which was producing well over 300hp.

Barry, James, Don, Brandy, and many others worked hard to put on this show for the scion community. Stop minimizing their efforts and volunteer to help plan next years show.

the only vip/jdm xb was chris' with the spirits kit and everything. the only two jdm/vip cars were his and beccari's. there just aren't enough to have it's own class. the classes were set up the best they could be. Good job to the people who put the show together because a LOT of personnal time and effort went in to putting the show together. But it was a good show i had a lot of fun with everyone.

Let me know if you need a judge next time I'll make the trip up to handle any complaints. If I can do it for 3000 import and mini truckers I think I can handle this group.

Jason, we will take you up on that offer next time. For sure! Are you still with Gauge Magazine?

We did have a good show. Regardless of what you have read here about the judges, we had a great time and most everyone enjoyed being at Old Town and having lots of things to do besides looking at Scions. We were right next to the 300 ft. cable swing and watched people plunge and scream all day long. Next year they will have the 3 story go-cart track finished and that will be cool to check out too. Hope to see you next time.
