woot! I can see my hood behind the green widebody 180sx.

speaking of which, that car was a complete POS. engine was dirty, canvas top was dirty, wheel wells were dirty. The widebody hadn't had the rivets grinded off and molded over. The front right headlight was condensed to absolute hell. the center light was weathered heavily. and the camber on teh back tires!

OK guys I bring news from the top of the NCCA. I know many of you are not happy with the way Scions are treated at the HIN events. I was there @ Orlando, but as a judge in order to learn the system, unfortunately I was not allowed to judge Scions, anyways, I complained about the lack of classes for us and was given the following challenge.

If we get 20 xA's, 20 xB's & 20 tC's registered for Miami, they will break open the classes and have a Mild/Wild for each car make. Furthermore I am working with Scion in order to get us all parked together around the Scion booth for Miami.

So do me a favor, get the word out. I'll be checking registrations from now till December to try and get us our own classes for HIN Miami. And trust me, it is in our best interest to have us parked together.

PM me with any questions. Hope you all had a good time and I apologize for not having the time to mingle with my Scion mates.

I was not happy with the way the judging went at all. I think it was a bad system they way they judged the cars in general. The show was divided in 4 different sections and judges. For example, Zach was judge by John Doe #1 and Regan was judged by John Doe #3 and I was judged by John Doe #2 and the other scion by John Doe # 4.

So you mean to tell me that all the scions where judged by different people instead of one person to determine the best cars.

Hopefully all the little problems get fix for HIN Miami.

Also I will like to congrate Regan, and the big turn around in the Xb. I wish I had as much lighting to show off my paint. Congrates to all the scions that entered as well. I'm sure the HIN miami will be alot better!!!

To some degree you are correct about the judging. However, all the best trophies are left to senior judges and conferred. To best improve our chances of impartial judging in the future for HIN, parking together is a big start. Still there is more than one jusdge per section.

So while no sysytem is perfect, the top tier cars do get special attention from other judges.

Regardless showing in numbers, will at least split the classes allowing for more Scions to be recognized for what they have accomplished.

ya, you boxes have an unfair advantage over us tC's. You look badass with just rims and a drop!

But to tell you the truth, tC's have the advantage over us boxes in that tC's are more perfromance driven, and HIN heavily weighs performance mods over looks. So having engine work, suspension, gauges etc ... should give you the edge over a dropped box with tail lights and some CF parts ...
