I am going to be moving to the Orlando area and have been wondering about the common laws that might affect my recent pucheses.

1. Tint laws: what are they and how often are they enforced. Like can I go limo tint and get away with it if I am not breaking any other laws.

2. Exahust: are the laws as bad as California or more like Idaho?

3. Decibles: Are their stereo laws that I need to be aware of ,and where are thy most enforced. For example I can play my radio as loud as I want in most areas of Vegas and not get a ticket but if I am on the Strip I will get pulled over in a matter of seconds.

Also I am coming down right after I get married and am going to be rather poor with school and all so any interesting thing that dont cost an arm a leg would be cool to know about.

hey man i live in orlando.. Limo tint is illegal but u hardly hear any1 getting pulled over just for tints... dnt get me wrong sometimes the cop will give u a fix it ticket and others will just rip tht ____ right out of ur car... the rest i do them all the time and never got in trouble for it.... HKS hi power axleback on the tc is loud and quiet at the same time.. and stereo i got 2 12 W3s and a 500/1 AMp so thts pretty Fin loud and they dnt car as long as ur smart to turn them down if ur by a cop at the light... welcome to orlando!!!

 

i have never been pulled over for my 10% tint..and my exhaust is kinda loud...but its less down here then n e were else is like

 

Don has 3 layers of 5% and has gotten ticketed once I think.

i have a loud exhaust and i've never been pulled over and i have been loud next to a couple of cops.

iirc the tint laws are 28% front, 18% rear w/ a 18% front strip at the top of the windshield.

 

Ive had limo tints on my Grand Marquis and have never been pulled over.

And if your looking for cheap stuff to do we have a cruise-in at Sonics every thursday.

nope joe... i havent gotten a ticket for tint...

um, blue lights on the other hand, those are a little illegal...

i have 2 layers of 5% on everything back from the rear doors, and the front two have a single layer of 10%...

i am running a glasspack off my header and thats it... im really loud... nothing...

my last systems were rather loud, and i have been pulled over and asked to turn them down...

one cop pulled me over because he saw the tv in the car, and thought i was watching a dvd... but nope, its a rear view camera...

um, aside from that... you cant have really really really (like 12000k) blue hid's

I never been pulled over for anything other than speeding.

 

because they didnt catch you coming over the border...

but yeah... the only cops around here that are true dicks are FHP... they would give anyone a ticket.. OCSD are mostly cool, but there is one or two dicks out there... OPD gets paid hourly... so you know they could care less
