Went to the movies last week and there was a good group down by Downtown Disney by the Virgin records parking area. The stores neon lights made the cars look awesome.

Anyone? (These were some of the Scions there)
-White - xB, tinted with silouette xB sticker in the rear window, lowered
-Green- xB, fully stock
-Black- xA with black Enkei wheels not lowered
-White- tC stock
-Gray- xA with TRD emblems

It was good seen people walking by and looking at them

what time are you guys goin to be out there?

 

I do not know what time would be good. I can after 8:00 to either loation Sonic or Downtown Disney by Virgin Records

There was not much interest but I guess many read the message and will go out anyway.
I will start after 8:00 pm by the Virgin Records store in Downtown Disney and drive up to Sonic, you know just a nice night cruise and then I'll go home

Not many showed up in such a short notice and that was expected. I did see some Scions in the parking lot but not from people wanting to cruise around, most likely regular visitors or tourists.
But we can try again shortly

Yeah, I know... it was a good try for me, but you know how it is. At least some read it and went out.
I was at Down Town Disney again last night and there were a few Scion's again. Of them all there was a really nice looking white xB with blue lights underneath.
Let see what happens this week either at DTD or Sonic.

One thing, if it rains, I am not going out..

Let's see what happens tomorrow. I may not be able to go due to work but I will definitely try. If anyone goes please bring a camera to document it and post some cool pics.

To make it easier to identify who is there for this reason, try to park by the Virgin Records sign. Also the lights over there make a good background for shinny looking Scions

I will try to get out of my meetings at work in the early evening as soon as I can, to see if I can make it over there.

Starting the 'cruzzing" in front of Virgin Records in Downtown Disney

If I go I will try to be there around 8:00 park and maybe check some music at the Virgin Store and then drive to Sonic to get some food...

i guess round 8 ..im going bowling at 7 with a friend then i can head out there and be ther around 8 8:15 so ya

was so down there....ivan tried calling you wouldnt go threw for some reason

but went down there around 8:15-8:20
saw no scions was kinda bummed..but ended back up at the bowling alley

 

soo close... you just missed us.

I got there a little after 8:20, maybe 5 min. after that.

As soon as I got to the parking lot I saw these lights right on my rear bumper and I thought it was a cop, "I was thinking, man I hope I stopped at the stop sign there" I kept going but it was a very sweet sweet xB all pimped up with new bright Porshe red wheels, yellow fog lamps and so low that I think the exhaust pipe must rub against the pavement every now and then. Then I found out we have met before and we started talking for short while. We parked and noticed other cars there: a yellow MR-2 and a Matrix with 18's.

There was a tC there and we walked around it and looked around thinking it was you RedLine...

We checked the rear lot by House of Blues for any sign of life with no success and came back to the front of Virgin and waited for a short while.

We saw a line of nice Acura's in the back of the lot all with mods.

While waiting, another xB showed up, with a lot of mods too... carbon fiber cargo door, two tone, awesome wheels, carbon fiber hood, neon lights among many other accessories. Another sweet ride.

It was an OK show so lets see what happens next week.

At least people were walking by and checking the cars out.

I talked to some people at the Scion Old Town Swap Meet and mentioned that last week we tried to have a "Thursday Night cruise" by DTD starting in front of Virgin Records. Some read it here but worked late others did not know about it. But now they do and will try to make it on Thursday.

So I guess same rules apply. Only that we should say 8:30.

We can go from DTD to Sonic or stay there chillin', anything works.

By the way the Swap Meet was good
