Ok. Here is the deal. I just got some info about what happened tonight. The mall is ____ed for 2 reasons.
1. we don't have permission to be there
2. the business cards i made said we meet at the boynton beach mall and they aren't happy with that
I suggest that we find a new location since they don't realize that most of the members go in and shop, eat and buy stuff there before and during the meet.
Now we can do a few things... we can find a new location for wednesday nights. or we can meet at quarterdeck on sundays with the rest of south florida racing. I will be calling the mall manager tomorrow to find out how they got one of the cards, as well as stating our case for us to stay. I'm not sure how much good this will do us.
I suggest people come up with some ideas for new places to meet.
PS.. how did mall security get ahold of one of the business cards?

I called the mall this morning and they put me through to mall security's voice mail. I wanted to talk to the mall manager. So when he calls me back I am going to find out what steps i need to take and exactly who I need to talk to you get this fixed. I will keep you updated whenever I get any new information.

Ok.. the mall had a marketing lady called me back last night. She said that legally she can not give us permission to meet in the parking lot due to insurance reasons. She said we may continue to be there... but if security or the cops decide they don't want us there we have to go.
So I suggest we find a new spot for now. I have some things working out with the bf. Since Boynton Mall is a Simon mall and his job has some serious ties with Simon.. we may be able to keep meeting there later on. One of his satallite offices are right there in front of the mall. He will find out next week sometime though.
In the meantime any suggestions on where to meet next week. Hell.. maybe we should just go to the Alehouse on Wednesday lol.

Does it need to be in the Boynton Beach area? I heard something about "Crabby jacks" on Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach on Sunday afternoon/nights (40 to 50 mixed cars).
The BIG meet is every Friday night at Tower Shops, starts around 6:00pm, off University west of the T/P (around 150 to 200 mixed cars)

The problem is that this is a Palm Beach County event. I myself drive from Palm Beach Gardens. Deerfeild is too far south for people that live in Jupiter and in that area. Boynton is a central location for those that live in Boca and Deerfeild and people that live up my way and further north. I don't want to exclude anybody because they have to drive an hour to get to a weekly meet.
If you have any idea let me know. We would like to keep this meet for Scion owners only.. but if necessary we are allowed to meet at quarterdeck on sunday nights with the rest of South Florida Racing and Florida Street Scene
