Default Scion version of ft-86 coming to new york

A week from today at the New York Auto Show, the Scion version of the FT-86 concept will debuted for the first time.
Scion has released a quick teaser video for the new car, and it seems to be similar to the FT-86 II concept shown last month. The car will also be debuted live on April 20th at 1:40 pm Eastern on http://www.sciondimension.com/.
Here's hoping we also get some info on when the production version will be ready!

I'm lol'ing at the ignorant comments on SH. I mean do these geniuses think Scion is some separate car company? Everything that Scion sells now is a Toyota somewhere else in the world. It seems like the shallow end of the gene pool overflows into the car scene quite often. It's sad really.

So true!

Its funny they knock on scion. If it was a toyota kids would still get it and rice it just like there are examples of riced out models of every car out there. People are stupid! Regardless of the name its still the same damn car. if they can afford it they will buy it regardless of brand name!

SCION FAIL!!!! it would be nice to be able to see the release. You'd think by now they would have anticipated the amount of bandwidth needed to stream this.... I had the countdown on my screen for 4 hours how and then the site fails...

Man! For the Gen2 tC and iQ press conference; least I got the video player it was choppy but it was playable. Once the conference was over; replay and it was playing normal.

Yeah apprently, there were more interest in this car than the Gen 2.....lol

www.sciondimension.com was up last time I tried. I watched everything and read the press release. I am SUPER EXCITED. Unfortunately it looks like it will not be out until next year (probably a 2013 model year) but that is ok because it seems it WILL be a model and not just a maybe we will think about it kind of thing. I will have had the tC for 8 years and it will be about time to upgrade. I hope to be an early adopter of this just like I was for the tC.
