Driver reaction time doesn't count toward the pitiful 16.50s ET. I'm not sure why this BRZ is so slow but it appears to be an auto trans with TC enabled. The MT FRS/BRZ seem to run between 14.8 and 15.3s 1/4 mile ETs with TC off and a high rpm clutch dump. Here's a MT GT86 posting 0-60 in 6.9s, 1/4 mile in 15.25s and eventually a top speed of 145mph after 6+ miles flat-out...

Yeah, that drivetrain shake was ugly!
True, but he's a sports car driver, not a drag racer.
I found some much better results. 14.78 @92.3 mph with 1/4 tank of gas and the spare tire, jack, rear seat and air filter removed:
The best stock run they managed was 14.99 @91.1 mph.

Here's a new 1/4 mile video of the FRS running a 17 second 1/4 mile. The Nova in the next lane runs about the same as a 2012 V6 Mustang so the vid offers some perspective on what to expect on the street.
I'm not trying to post such slow times but this is all I can find. If anyone finds any better FRS 1/4 mile vids, please post 'em up.
