Scion wants your thoughts on the FR-S

weight is...2662 (base) or 2706 (higher trim)
WellesleyScion is correct...there will be no such thing as a "Toyota FT-86" in the US/CA/PR...only Scion FR-S
and FT-86 and the FR-S are 99.9% the same car...only difference: badges

scion and toyota is basically the samething...

There hasnt been any confirmation on the Supra, closest thing to it was that Toyota re-trademarked the name plate about a year and half ago.

yea i know....i'm just saying thats the only possible news of a "new" toyota to be released. cuz i dont know of anything else he could b talkin about

2700 pounds with 200HP. I hope the car is put together in a very nice package because they power output isn't all that impressive.

It will be interesting to see, and interesting to see how many parts people will be forcibly trying to fit onto the tC2

Some STi.
Autoblog: "STI has added a full smattering of performance bits to the BRZ, including a more aggressively tuned suspension setup, Brembo brakes, and lightweight materials (a carbon fiber roof and wheels, specifically) to reduce overall weight."
Me thinks something is missing from this equation.

Say 170ish+ depending on the transmission. One thing that does bug me is the fact the auto is an old fashion slush box with a torque converter. I honestly think the parasitic loss might be enough to really ruin the driving experience of this car especially since the torque is probably going to be on the low side.
