It may be illegal though... but, that's only if it gets noticed somehow.

Here at UNH, cops literally pull ppl over for every little thing. Especially since there are like 20 cop cars per square mile!

Haven't gotten pulled over yet

My traction slippage light came on with a CEL. It hasn't turned off. I'm not worried, but it is very annoying to look at.

I had that happen to me once. I forgot was a was installing at the time. But all I did was unplug the battery wait a minute and plugged it back in and it worked fine after that. If that's the case for you? Idk

My CEL had to do with misfires. An uneducated guess: the slippage indicator and CEL are on the same circuit?

I got the CEL and traction lights together when I installed the Takeda and cranked up the car without disconnecting the battery to let the ECU reset. As with Josh's case, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes corrected it for me.

That's a possibility. I already had my Tsudo on when I installed the Takeda and that happened. Gas lifts FTW!

Mine had come on but a few others were with it. Somehow I blew a fuse... Got a new one and was good to go.

The exhaust wouldn't have an effect, the ECU will compensate for more flow. The issue with the intake is your cars use a MAF sensor which can be sensitive to turbulence and the dirtier/more oily air that cone intakes let in. It's this that could be exacerbated by a freer flowing exhaust.

I avoid modifying the airboxes on MAF based cars myself.
