Im getting the whole car dynamated tomorrow ~84 square feet of the material.
Did u notice any improvements? Where did u apply it?
Im mostly hating the roadnoise and getting the thick pads.

i did the entire car, minus the floor. did notice little less road noise, but really didnt pay much attention to before/after. i just always do it with my audio systems. i have 2-3 layers of dynamat extreme on doors, rear speaker area, and floor of hatch, 1 layer in sides of the hatch, with 1/2 inch dynaliner on everything, 2 layers on hatch floor

I have personally seen parts for the Japan tC2 that DO NOT FIT on the usa tC2...minor things really but enough to make it not look right

but other that...I really hope things work out! maybe u and ur friend can be a distributor selling to us ScionLifers! haha

I was thinking about 4 but did only 3 which seemed excessive as well since the first coat was very heavy and covered everything. So 3 seems like a good bet.
For the inside of the wheel I used just one heavy coat

The plasti-dip turned out well. Nice to see another black tC with black rims. I was getting tired of being alone in the black on black struggle...

Yea I had seen yours 2 it looks great the only reason why I didn't do it after you was because I was going to get some aftermarket black rims but I've changed my mind so I'll do this insted

It's really hard to mess it up and if you do it's fixable and if you get tired of it you can easily remove it.....so to me it seems a must have, especially with a black tC. My parents asked me what I've been up to and I said I was painting my wheels and they were "Oh no don't mess with that and the stock looks good" but when they saw the final result they were speechless haha. Matte Black looks incredible, now need red calipers....

Some folks dig that style spoiler. Some folks love the OEM one. Some (like me) just want a basic Lexus-style lip spoiler... with a built-in backup camera *drool*

need more coffee

BTW those black rims do look nice. need to get a few cans of the OEM SW so I can dip my wheels and try to color match them

same thing happened to me when I plasti-dipped my emblems....everyone, I mean everyone....parents, girlfriend, friends, girlfriend's uncle...was like DID U REMOVE THE EMBLEMS FIRST? DID U PUT THEM BACK ON RIGHT?...then after explaining plasti-dip/how it works....DID U COVER EVERYTHING UP?...then after again explaining that plasti-dip peels off...ARE U SURE?...then after finally showing them...they shut up
