CONFIRMED: Toyota / Subaru RWD Coupe for 2011
#23
That looks sweet maybe a few more sporty touches but I would buy it as is for sure if its RWD and has at least the 175hp. Upwards of 190 would be nice though. Keeping an eye on this for sure. Come on Toyota dont screw this up like you did when you got rid of the supra.

I would like to suggest upping the prize to under $25K target instead of under $20K, and by doing so we get in return: 200+WHP, F/I, RWD, handling capable of 0.96+ lateral G & 70+MPH slalom (or close to it), and solid interior refinement. I know i'm probably forgetting a thousand things but that's off the top of my head in terms of must haves.

so this is basically an impreza coupe like they had in the late 90's? whats so different other than the fact that it MAY have a toyota symbol on it? check autotrader, you can get an 07 subi impreza 2.5i for 18 G's? the only difference is that its AWD and not RWD

Did you guys catch the price?
Those are Brittish pounds, at the current exchange rates that is:
£10k = $20k
$50k stateside for the turbo motor, are they insane? Might as well go get a GT-R or an M-series. Do cars cost more in the UK than here?
Sources suggest that the coupé could cost as little as £10,000 in Japan, but it’s likely to be closer to £20k in the UK, rising to £25k for the turbo model.
