Default Easy Fix: iPod Nano / Scion Integration

I SAW THAT SOME SCION OWNERS WERE HAVING ISSUES~ SO HERE IS AN ANSWER FOR THE IPOD NANO USERS
this Just in from TMS:

It has come to our attention that some iPod Nano users might experience difficulty connecting to the Scion upgrade radio with iPod interface. The problem occurs when a consumer tries to connect the Nano to the vehicle, song titles and all iPod features work but no sound will come out. The problem can be easily corrected by performing a soft reboot of the Nano.

Re-boot process:
Turn Nano on (unit should be disconnected from the vehicle)
Press and hold "menu" and "center button" until the apple symbol appears
Connect to vehicle

Note: On a soft re-boot no memory will be lost

Not all of Apple's tech staff seems to be aware of the problem or the fix; they may blame the problem on the radio. Please inform your dealers/customers of this problem and instruct customers to perform the re-boot before bringing the car into the dealer.

Sounds like Apple isn't but Toyota is.

Default Wish I had read this

Damn! I wish I read this before I exchanged my black nano for a white one. I was having the same exact problems described and I even took it in to the dealership to have a look. No one could figure the problem, but now it makes sense.
