According to Jalopnik, the much rumored FT-86 just might be sold under the Scion moniker to help the failing sales.

Already been posted in other cars area by Ack! But the TC2 front end on the FT86 looks like poop!

^not far off at all! Talked with our regional & some other higher-ups and they confirmed for the 2012 model year that the "FR-S" will be released as a limited run (like 5k or 1-2 per dealer) in a FR layout with a <200HP NA boxer design motor starting around 25K. at this point I think the excitement has waned.....if it was at 20K I would be in one of these at 25K if it was AWD I would be in one imediately
