You're comparing apples to oranges. tC owners had no interest in whether the xB2 had electronic steering assist, the original xB did not. It has nothing to do with the tC2 having electronic steering assist, the original tC does not, as it had hydraulic steering. I don't think many people give a rats ___ either way if it's electronic or hydraulic.

xD's have it. I could tell on the xB2. absolutely no steering feedback. and yank the wheel too quick and it can't keep up. that sucks when corner carving. not a fan of it, but it's here to stay. at least japan figured out how to better control the electronic throttle. hate that too. nice to know a throttle controller it's standard fare in the Prius. now i need to buy a controller for my xD.

I like it, actually I like that when scion started all the models looked completely different and that was cool then. Now they all have a central theme like scion has grown into it's own unique style. Also this style of weird looking cars is big in Japan right now and all the companies are putting out weird looking cars now. If you want a company that always makes a sleek and sexy car then buy a vdub. That's their thing and Japan is big on the deliberatly weird looking thing right now. I think the've grown tired of the sexy drifting thing and we should respect that since they basically made it to begin with. Besides we will get our sexy rwd coupe from toyota anyway, so what's the point of having two sexy coupes when one if fwd?

I think they did all they could with what they had and the new rules and I like how it looks! They cant put the v6 from the camry in it or a turbo at this price point, and they cant develop a whole new engine for it either. I like this new style alot(my favorite is the new mazda3 and when sexy cars come back in style then it will make them all the more special.

Obviously they had to take alot of cool features away to put in all the new features and safety gizmos to meet the same price point as opposed to when they made the tc they just had a sum of money from toyota to make it from the ground up so I guess thats why they never made much money off of it since it was basically a base model camry but completely different. I dont want to come off like a fanboy to you guys but I think some are being way to hard and not looking at what the other companies are putting out too. Also as far as the Kia, it's just a copy of a tc anyway!! Why do people want something that's just a copy of another car but not as good? I love the way it looks and I would trade if I wasn't gonna lose money on it, but I love my car anyway and it's cool how they kept the original relevant but made a car that is different but not exactly better in every way! To me that's one sign of a good car company! It reminds me of vdub's GTI how all generations are different but cool. Again not a fanboy!!

Well yea I guess, if you mean performance wise that's true but that also not really fair since the tc never really had it's own engine or platform. maybe they could have bored it out more though to bump the horsepower up like the golf always has done with the couple engines it's had. But if you mean like feature wise then that's just more to break on a vdub. They already have serious problems with there new transmission and the new slip diff technology or whatever it is, is gonna be a nightmare! every little feature on the vdubs break and are incredible hard to fix and hard to even get to and break again trying to fix them. I meant more that every generation is still as cool as the new ones. Kinda like a box chevy or something. Alot of cars arent like that.

I preferred the 2009 'subtle tweaks' campaign over this rendition of a change.

Good:
6-Speed
2.5L engine (better MPG though? how are they pulling that off?)

Bad:
New design and you leave the old style antenna?
Single compartment armrest, 2 is better then 1!
Go Green! Or blue or how about all of them.... but orange?... keep up with your style of making our cars customizable and let us change it to whatever color we want!!!

It honestly looks like a Forte Koup, Charger and Caliber had a love child... don't ask me how that works... but this car is what would become of such obscenity.
